Dissolvers are turbine-type agitators, used in many industries and above all in chemicals, paints and food, that mix powders (solids) into liquids at high speed. They run at between 300 and 6,000 rpm to give a homogeneous mix and, depending on the system, can also be used to break down agglomerates as well as to mix. Makfen dissolvers are built to the capacity the production process requires and come with a stainless steel main shaft, a hydraulic clamping system for the vessel, hydraulic raising and lowering of the head, and speed control.
Disperser
Like dissolvers, dispersers are used both to mix and to break down solids. Although they generally do the same job, their technical characteristics are somewhat different, and the main difference is motor power. Dispersers have much more powerful motors and are therefore preferred for solids that are much harder to mix in. They are used mostly by companies serving the chemical industry and cover a wide range of batch capacities, from 200 litres to 2,500 litres.
