With equipment manufacturing experience going back to 2009, Makfen builds ointment, gel and cream tanks, used mostly in sectors such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and food, to the customer's requirements and the product specification.
Heated by steam or by electric elements and available in capacities from 50 to 2,000 litres, these tanks are used on their own or as a system together with phase tanks. Their fittings, agitator types and heating and cooling installations vary with the process. They can be designed with full PLC control for automatic operation or, if the customer prefers, built for manual operation.
Depending on the operating conditions and the customer's preference, ATEX-rated equipment for hazardous areas and a weighing system can also be added.
